Carma Pecan Cookies
While experimenting with this recipe, I was reminded of an old recipe of mine: Caramel Pecan Pie. This cookie turned out to be the closest thing to it. I should say others say it reminds them of a sticky bun. Both sound amazing to me! No refined sugars needed in this one because dates and maple syrup do the job perfectly. It has a wonderful "buttery" caramel flavor and a smooth and super moist texture. Not heavy or too sweet because the pecans work wonderfully to balance the sweetness and round out the flavor, leaving you with a comforting, wholesome, and nourishing cookie Especially nice for those vegans or dairy free folk who might be missing a caramel flavor. Made with organic ingredients. All batches are made to order and made with love, sincerely.
