FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What do you mean by at least 75% organic?

I really try to include all organic ingredients in my baking, but sometimes the cost is just too high, especially these days. The almond flour, Himalayan salt and nuts in the cookies are not organic and the nuts in the granola are also not organic. All the other ingredients are organic.

Do you use nuts?

Yes, the cookies and granola have tree nuts: coconut, macadamia, and almond. I know coconut is not technically a nut but the health department does recognize it as one for some reason.

Are you certified GF?

No, I do not operate in a certified GF kitchen. I don't use products with gluten and only use certified GF ingredients, but I can not guarantee no cross contamination.

What other allergies might be in your baked goods?

I search for the cleanest ingredients for my baking. Therefore, my baked goods have no dairy, eggs, animal products, soy, gluten and no refined sugar, which covers many allergies. If you have a particular allergy, please email me so we can discuss an option.

Do you allow substitutions with ingredients?

Yes, I can substitute one ingredient. Please email me and let me know what you would like to substitute. Some substitutions will not work with my baked goods, but I'm happy to discuss options with you.

How fresh will my order be if I'm shipping?

Freshness is important to me. Therefore, all orders are made in small batches and made to order and will never be frozen. I use quality recyclable packaging that zip locks and heat seals. As soon as your baked goods are baked and cooled, they are packaged, sealed and shipped that same day.

How quickly do you ship after receiving my order?

I usually ship the next day but sometimes I need an extra day due to a holiday or a high volume week. You can count on 1-2 business days after your order is placed.  Freshness is one of my priorities, so orders coming in on Thursday afternoon, will be shipped on Monday if it is not a holiday. This is so your baked goods will not sit in transit needlessly over the weekend. Please email me if you need to ship Friday. I will be happy to do it if my schedule allows it!

How will my order be packaged for freshness?

Yes, this matters and is not easy when thinking of sustainability. I use a very efficient food bag that is heat sealable and zip locked to retain freshness and is recyclable. These bags are also work great in the refrigerator.

Can your baked goods be frozen?

Yes, they can be frozen, even the granola. I love eating this granola straight from the freezer in the summer time. I have customers who even prefer it this way! The package your baked goods will arrive in is not a freezer bag. So I recommend placing your treats in a freezer bag. They can be frozen up to 2 months.

Can your baked goods be refrigerated?

Absolutely! Just squeeze out the excess air, zip lock the back tightly and place in the refrigerator. They can be refrigerated for up to 2 weeks. I recommend doing this if you are in a humid climate.

How do I sign up for a subscription?

On the product page, all you have to do is pick the item you want and click subscribe now. You can order multiple quantities of one item, i.e., 6 bags of Co-Co Oat Cookies.  The site from there will take you through the checkout process of entering your address, credit card, etc.

How does the subscription service work?

A subscription is a great way to save a little time and money. You will save 5% on your entire order, plus free shipping. You can add multiple quantities to your subscription at the time of signing up. Unfortunately, you can not add multiple products to one subscription. This is a feature that my web hosting company currently does not offer. (Fingers crossed that they will offer it soon.) So if you want to sign up for multiple items, such as granola and cookies, you will have to create a subscription for each product. We are very sorry for the inconvenience. All the items you subscribed for will be in the same shipment.

After signing up, you will receive a confirmation email. Within 2-3 business days, the first order of your subscription will be made fresh and shipped. From then on, you will receive your subscription box once/month from the time you joined.

Will you give me a heads up about my upcoming subscription shipment?

Yes, you will receive an email confirming your order and notifying you of your credit card charge. We will ship 2-3 business days after your credit card has been charged. To preserve freshness, we do not bake our shipped goods Friday-Sunday or on holidays.

How do I cancel my subscription?

We need 2 weeks notice from your ship date if you are canceling because your items have been put in a cue. Just go to your subscription page and click cancel or email me at ohnaturelbakery@gmail.com. Any cancelations received after the 2 weeks before your shipping date, will be processed the next month. We will be sorry to see you go.

Who do you ship through?

I use Sendle shipping service. They ship though USPS. I use Sendle because they are a 100% carbon neutral company, so I and you can ship without the worry of doing more harm to the environment.

What if there is a problem with my order?

I genuinely want you to be satisfied with your purchase. Just email me if there is a problem, and I will sort it out quickly.

Do you allow returns?

I do not since it is a perishable product. However, please email me if there is a problem with your order, and I will sort it out quickly.

How do I sign up for your mailing list?

Just scroll below and submit your email.  For the record, I don't send out many emails, just only if I have a new treat or some important news.
